On August 2 - 3, 2008, 12 MPEI employees participated in the American Cancer Society's “Relay for Life" at the Middle Park High School track in Granby, CO. "Walkers" were required to be on the track from Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. until Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. Each member donated time or money to help support the citizens of Grand County plagued with cancer.

“Participating in this event was rewarding. We were glad to support our locals and happy that the money stayed in Grand County,” MPEI's Stacey Thompson said. She hopes to get involved earlier next year and gather even more support from MPEI employees.
