On what was considered one of the most beautiful summer evenings of June, The Friends of the Grand County Library hosted the Tops of the Rockies 3 rd Annual Event, a fundraiser to benefit the Juniper Library at Grand Lake. The setting sun glistened on the lake as gentle waves pushed their way along the shore—a perfect setting for the evening celebration held at the Grand Lake Yacht Club.

The lower level of the yacht club held tables of silent auction items, and the upper level was filled with an array of table settings, each adorned with fine linens, glassware, floral arrangements or treasures relating to the favorite book that inspired the theme for the table. Local artists and patrons of the library donated the tables for auction.

It was a very special evening for the Juniper Library and for the many patrons who are so grateful to the library for the adventures, programs and quiet pleasures they enjoy when visiting Juniper Library. The Friends of the Grand County Library are so devoted to the libraries serving our communities, fundraising with their book sales, evening events and volunteering.
