removal on property not owned by the person reporting the trees.
- Are the trees marked? MPEI prefers red paint or a red ribbon.
- If the trees are not marked when will they be marked?

2. The MPEI area superintendent will schedule a job site survey and do the following:
- Determine whether the trees marked by the landowner are a threat to MPEI overhead
high voltage or secondary lines.
- Check access to the marked trees and determine what equipment and manpower is
needed to cut the trees down.

4. For safety reasons, only MPEI personnel will be allowed in the cutting area during the tree-
cutting operation.

the building to allow for tree clearing. MPEI will reconnect the secondary service “ during
regular business hours” after the trees have been cleared.
