NEW CONSTRUCTION: SIMPLE SERVICE

DESCRIPTION

New for 2023! A simple service is a 200-amp meter pedestal installed on your property within 20 feet of MPE's source (transformer or junction pedestal).

REQUIREMENTS

200-amp pedestal shall be installed on your property within 20 feet of MPE's source (transformer, junction pedestal or power pole). Call MPE's Engineering Department at (970) 887-3378 ext 4 to find out if you qualify for this new option.

Property pins and your service address must be clearly visible on your property.  

LOAD SHEET

MPE accepts load sheets from April 1 - October 1 (our construction season).

A $600 non-refundable design deposit and completed load sheet must be submitted to MPE's Engineering Department to initiate the process.

DESIGN

A staking technician designs your simple service. MPE will send you a contract/invoice. Call MPE at (970) 887-3378 ext 4 for more information.

RELEASED FOR CONSTRUCTION

Upon receipt of your contract and payment, your job will be approved for construction. Your service will typically be installed within 60 days.

STATE INSPECTION

Once your service has been installed, please call the State Electrical Inspector at (303) 894-2300 to obtain your electrical inspection. 

METER IS ENERGIZED

Once MPE receives your State Electrical Inspection/Meter Release, we will energize your meter remotely.
