UPDATE (Aug. 16 – 4:51 p.m.) Power to all meters has been restored. It's believed that lightning caused the Williams Fork Reservoir outage.

UPDATE (Aug. 16 – 2:14 p.m.)  Linemen are responding to a second outage near the Williams Fork Reservoir that is affecting around 100 meters. The outage near Walden is down to around 50 meters still impacted. Linemen there have restored power all but to the section requiring a bad insulator to be replaced. The outage map is incorrectly reading this outage, showing more meters than are currently involved.

(Aug. 16 – 11:27 a.m.)  MPE is currently responding to a large outage in the Highway 14 area southwest of Walden. Due to the high risk of wildfires in our area, MPE's system is set to higher sensitivity settings.
